What is an Ethical City?
John is involved in community mobilization around the third World Urban Forum (WUF3) which is scheduled to be held in Vancouver from June 19 to 23, 2006.
The World Urban Forum was established by UN Habitat to examine one of the most pressing issues facing the world today: rapid urbanization and its impact on communities, cities, economies and policies.
WUF3 in Vancouver marks the return of UN Habitat to our city, thirty years after the agency’s founding at the first ever international Habitat conference, here in 1976.John will describe some of the community’s aspirations for WUF3.
What attributes of a city do you feel should be considered “ethical”?
