Tides,Tales & Timely Truths with David Spence
Thursday November 17 2005 12:15pm - 1:30pm |
David is an inaugural Board Member of the InterSpiritual Centre Society in Vancouver, and former Managing Editor of The Multifaith Calendar.
A calendar is a resource which both informs and transforms the religious and the spiritual.
How we celebrate religious and spiritual festivals, with whom we celebrate, and for what purpose, significantly determines who we are, how we are to be, to whom we belong, where we are to go, what we are to do, and with whom.
David will illustrate how the ebb and flow of the ocean waters, stories of faithfulness, and festivals celebrating momentous gatherings of belief interconnect to help create a global society of peace, love, laughter, harmony, and creativity.
Come join us for lunch!
Location: Main Floor, Terasen Gas Building (formerly BC Gas) 1111 West Georgia @ Thurlow, Vancouver BC
