ABOUT HAL GUNN

Dr. Hal Gunn, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of InspireHealth, is a graduate of the University of British Columbia (M.D. 1981). He has had a lifelong interest in wellness and healing, and has a special interest in mind-body medicine and psychoneuroimmunology (the study of the effects of the mind and spirituality on the body's ability to heal). He has great respect for the healing potential of the human body and the role of the mind, body and spirit in health and healing.

Dr. Gunn has a clinical appointment with the UBC School of Medicine. Dr. Gunn also leads InspireHealth's Research Department, and is working with other organizations to integrate the concepts of health and healing into mainstream medicine.  With the growing scientific evidence supporting InspireHealth’s philosophy – empowered engagement in your own health – this integrated approach is now embraced by a majority of British Columbians diagnosed with Cancer.
