Many people believe in the "power of our thoughts." But how many of us use it consistently and see results?

For centuries, religious & spiritual traditions have told us the importance of our thoughts, fears and prayers. More recently, business and health pioneers have explored the power of belief, imagination and visualization.

Today's panel members have all had deep personal experience using "thought, prayer and intention" in their work. They'll speak about their experiences, answer questions and engage us in discussion.

This session is about practical application -- the "how to, what works & what doesn't" -- so that we can use this wisdom at work and in everyday living.

About Our Panelists:

Angela Hryniuk
Angela Hryniuk, M.A., has worked with literary, arts, prison, Buddhist and interfaith organizations in various capacities (from committee member to Board Chair) for the past 25 years. She was Executive Director of the InterSpiritual Centre of Vancouver Society until 2006.
    The owner of a thriving tax preparation business, Angela is also the author of three books of poetry and one CD. She has practiced Tibetan Buddhism for 17 years and taught it for the past 10. As a community organizer, she was a coordinator of the Spirituality Round Table at the United Nations-sponsored World Urban Forum (2006) and His Holiness the Dalai Lama's Spiritual Teaching in Vancouver (2004).

Anna Bowness
Anna has been in the full time practice of Christian Science healing for fifteen years. During this time she has witnessed many healings through prayer – of physical problems, work-related issues, financial and relationship problems, in both her own life and the lives of others. Chair of the Christian Science Committee on Publication for B.C., Anna communicates with legislators and government officials, journalists and the public about Christian Science and its work.

Barbara Hemmans
Barbara is an entrepreneur and investor in business opportunities, relationships and her own search for personal growth. She is the owner of a company called EVO - Personal and Business Development Coaching. In her " Success Partnering" style of coaching, she supports people through Transition and brings them closer to the ideal life they want to live.
   Barbara works daily with the power of Intention and has manifested many of her ideas & dreams. A pioneer in Personal Development, she started studying Spiritual Awareness, Energy Healing and reading as an Intuitive over 20 years ago. She also works intimately with people in palliative care and in their passage to the other side.
